WHAT IS LUMEN?™
The Lumen Imaging System is a dynamic plug-and-play appliance which allows users to create digital records from any analog source. The device supports over forty modality types (ultrasounds, endoscopes, fluoroscopes, etc.) and provides the ability to instantly upgrade these into networked digital capture devices. This patent pending technology simultaneously creates both still images and full color motion video. Patient records are produced as standard image files (JPG, PNG,MPG, and/or AVI) as well as true DICOM format. Lumen’s multi-channel design is unique from other network DICOM devices. It seamlessly integrates into any environment making it easy for doctors and medical staff alike to instantly send image files for use in permanent patient records. The device captures diagnostic-quality images and video on-the-fly and transfers them to a network location for integration into a DICOM study or PACS server.
